The Offspring in Syracuse, NY with special guests New Found Glory & Jimmy Eats World

On Tuesday, June 22, 2025 The Offspring played in Syracuse at the Empower Amphitheater at Lakeview. The brought special guests New Found Glory and Jimmy Eat World. It was a hot day, and the crowd had the bright sun in their eyes for most of the show. That didn’t stop the energy from buzzing through the crowd. Syracuse definitely loves this genre!

New Found Glory started off strong with a lot of crowd interaction. The frontman (Jordan Pundik) even leapt off the stage to sing from the pit. They definitely know how to warm up a crowd!

Jimmy Eat World was next up. The had a bunch of hits, and had the crowd singing along for most of their set.

Before The Offspring came on, they sent someone in a gorilla suit out to build even more energy. It was a lot of fun.

The Offspring’s set was full of hits. The crowd sang along the entire show. They played some Black Sabbath as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Their set was full of fun props that changed throughout the show. They even brought out a baby grand piano for an acoustic version of “Gone Away”. All in all it was a fantastic show, and my 14 year old self had a few fan girl moments (mostly when they played “Self Esteem”)!
