ACL to welcome the awesome Kali Uchis

By on August 25, 2023

If you’re a fan of Kali Uchis, you’re in luck. The Colombian American singer-songwriter is one of the top-billed artists for this year’s ACL Fest, and she’s ready to dazzle you with her eclectic mix of pop, R&B, soul and Latin influences. Kali Uchis has been making waves since her debut album Isolation in 2018, which featured collaborations with Tyler the Creator, Bootsy Collins, Jorja Smith and more. Her songs are catchy, sexy and empowering, and her voice is smooth as silk. She’s also known for her unique style, which often includes sequins, bodycon dresses and balaclavas that hide her face but not her charisma.

Kali Uchis will perform on both Fridays of the festival, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13, at the Honda stage. She’ll share the spotlight with other big names like Kendrick Lamar, The Lumineers and Maggie Rogers. You can expect to hear some of her hits like “After the Storm”, “Dead to Me” and “Just a Stranger”, as well as some songs from her latest EP Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios), which showcases her Spanish-language skills and Latin roots. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a curious newcomer, you won’t want to miss Kali Uchis’ set at ACL Fest. She’ll make you feel like you’re in a dreamy tropical paradise, even if you’re just in Zilker Park.

If you’re interested in seeing Kali Uchis at ACL Fest, you can buy single-day tickets or three-day passes on the festival’s website. Hurry up though, because they might sell out soon. And don’t forget to check out the rest of the lineup, which includes Foo Fighters, Shania Twain, Mumford & Sons, Odesza and many more. ACL Fest is one of the biggest music events in Austin, and it’s always a blast. So grab your friends, your sunscreen and your dancing shoes, and get ready for a weekend of fun and music with Kali Uchis and other amazing artists.
