The Boss Sings Purple Rain

April 23/2016: Bruce Springsteen paid homage to Prince tonight at the Barclays Center by playing “Purple Rain” to open his show. Bruce is on his “River Tour” and dedicated tonight’s show to Prince. The Boss explained how every time he saw Prince, he was left humbled. He announced to the rapt crowd that Prince, “was the best performer I ever saw.”
