Lumineers will wow the fans at ACL Festival
If you’re a fan of folk-rock music, you’re in for a treat this year. The Lumineers, one of the most popular and acclaimed bands in the genre, are coming to Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) for two weekends of amazing performances. Here’s why you should not miss this opportunity to see them live.
The Lumineers have been making waves since their debut album in 2012, which featured the hit singles “Ho Hey” and “Stubborn Love”. Their catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and authentic style have earned them a loyal fan base and numerous awards, including two Grammy nominations. Their second album, Cleopatra, was released in 2016 and topped the charts in several countries. It also spawned the anthemic song “Ophelia”, which became their highest-charting single to date.
The band’s latest album, III, came out in 2019 and showcased their storytelling skills and musical diversity. The album is divided into three chapters, each focusing on a different member of a fictional family struggling with addiction and its consequences. The songs are emotional, powerful, and sometimes haunting, but also hopeful and uplifting. The album was accompanied by a short film that visualized the story through stunning cinematography and acting.
The Lumineers are known for their energetic and engaging live shows, where they interact with the audience and create a warm and intimate atmosphere. They often play acoustic versions of their songs, as well as covers of classics by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Leonard Cohen. They also invite fans to sing along with them, creating a sense of community and joy.
The Lumineers will be playing at ACL on October 6th and 13th, on the American Express stage. They will be sharing the stage with other great artists, such as Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, and Megan Thee Stallion. This is a rare chance to see them in one of the biggest and most diverse music festivals in the country, so don’t miss it. Get your tickets now and get ready to have an unforgettable experience with The Lumineers.
