Neon Trees: The Alt-Pop Throwback
At 2:50 PM, the Right Field Stage lit up with Neon Trees, the Utah quartet who’ve been pumping out infectious alt-pop since the early 2000s. Led by the flamboyant Tyler Glenn, they’re famous for “Everybody Talks,” a 2012 earworm that still blares from car radios. Their glittery hooks and new wave vibes have kept them festival fixtures.

Tyler pranced out in a sequined jacket, kicking off with “Songs I Can’t Listen To” before the crowd erupted for “Everybody Talks.” The hour-long set was a sugar rush, with “Animal” and a cover of “Pink Pony Club” (a nod to Chappell Roan) keeping the energy sky-high. Neon Trees were a burst of neon nostalgia, turning the desert into a dance floor as the sun dipped lower.

Some of the Setlist:
- “Songs I Can’t Listen To”
- “Everybody Talks”
- “Animal”
- “Pink Pony Club” (cover)
- “Sleeping With a Friend”
