Beginning today (Tuesday, October 1) at 12 Noon (ET) and for the first time this year, single day credentials will be available for the 15th annual VOODOO MUSIC + ARTS EXPERIENCE. Prices range from $87 for the single day option to $2500 for a pair of top level Artist Creds. VOODOO’s annual Halloween weekend celebration in New Orleans (November 1, 2 and 3) features a bill led by performances from Pearl Jam, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Calvin Harris and Preservation Hall Jazz Band on Friday; Saturday’s highlights include Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, Afrojack and Big Gigantic; Sunday’s line-up includes The Cure, Kid Rock, Bassnectar, Beats Antique and Matt & Kim.
In addition, the free VOODOO app (for iPhone and Android devices) is available now to help concert-goers and visitors to New Orleans navigate both the festival and their time in the city. Beyond traditional festival features (interactive schedules and social media integration), the VOODOO app also offers suggestions for the best bars, restaurants and live music venues in New Orleans. The 15th anniversary VOODOO celebration will also mark the debut of City Park’s Festival Grounds, a new permanent home for VOODOO. Home to the VOODOO since its 1999 debut–with the exception of 2005 VOODOO which was displaced by the city’s hurricane damage–New Orleans’ 1,300 acre City Park is the region’s principal recreation site that attracts over seven million visitors each year.
