WHAT: As Umphrey’s McGee embarks on its Plan Bee Tour, a collection of double-header, COVID-compliant and socially distant rock & roll shows this spring, live stream concert experience industry producer TourGigs is making it possible for those who can’t attend in person to experience the show straight from home – live-streamed in pristine HD with soundboard audio. TourGigs provides unmatched audio and visual artistic quality to create a unique and intimate fan opportunity previously only experienced in person as today’s current landscape still demands innovative opportunities to experience live events safely.

“We’re looking at this as another way to responsibly do what’s right for the industry,” said Umphrey’s McGee Manager Kevin Browning. “Socially-distanced means fewer people in person, but with TourGigs’ help, we’re delivering as high quality of an experience as possible whether their car is parked in the front row or in front of a projector in their front yard. With rigorous quality standards, it will look and sound fantastic no matter how you’re consuming it.”

ABOUT UMPHREY’S MCGEE

The music of Umphrey’s McGee unfolds like an unpredictable conversation between longtime friends. Its six participants—Brendan Bayliss [guitar, vocals], Jake Cinninger [guitar, vocals], Joel Cummins [keyboards, piano, vocals], Andy Farag [percussion], Kris Myers [drums, vocals], and Ryan Stasik [bass]—know just how to communicate with each other on stage and in the studio. A call of progressive guitar wizardry might elicit a response of soft acoustic balladry, or a funk groove could be answered by explosive percussion. At any moment, heavy guitars can give way to heavier blues as the boys uncover the elusive nexus between jaw-dropping instrumental virtuosity and airtight songcraft.
