The Beatles: Get Back
Peter Jackson’s three-part documentary, The Beatles: Get Back transports us to a time when Beatlemania was still running rampant and the future of the worlds biggest band was at a crossroads. It’s spent 52 years in a vault at Apple and was finally placed into the hands of fantasy filmmaker and Beatle fan, Peter Jackson. The footage covers the making of the Beatles’ 1970 album Let It Be, which had the working title of Get Back, and draws from material originally captured for Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s 1970 documentary. Get Back premieres in three parts on Disney+ over the Thanksgiving weekend, beginning November 25.
