Singer/Songwriter and TikTok Star Alec Chambers Releases Studio Version of “Ed Sheeran’s a Dick,” His New Viral Hit

Over the past few weeks, a new viral hit by the singer/songwriter Alec Chambers has begun to take over TikTok, already reaching more than 5 million views, and now, by popular demand, a studio version is available to stream on all major platforms. Ironically titled “Ed Sheeran’s A Dick,” the track finds Chambers complaining that his girlfriend wants to leave him for Ed Sheeran, but that as much as he wants to hate Sheeran’s music, he can’t help but find it catchy, becoming a fan himself. Set to a driving beat and a one listen instant-earworm of a hook, social media followers have been demanding the song’s release since Chambers first shared it earlier this month.
 
“When I first posted this song on TikTok, I had no idea what the initial reaction would be,” Chambers commented. “I knew it might be difficult to win over the Ed fans, but when they hear the rest of the song they will realize what this actually is – a love song disguised as a diss track.”
 
“Ed Sheeran’s A Dick” is the latest offering from the 27-year-old Connecticut native, who in addition to his parodies and reinterpretations of popular music – such as his iconic performance of Halsey’s “Without Me” – is also widely acclaimed for his original music. Offering a seamless blend of smooth vocals and bedroom pop beats, Chambers has created a signature sound that his dedicated following knows and loves, garnering 46M+ Spotify streams, 59M TikTok views, and a rabid, fast-growing audience.
