Videos of Ms. Clarkson’s performance of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball”  have gone viral after her performance at the Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, IN on Saturday.  Our photo gallery is provided by Lora Olive, and the video is embedded below.

Despite the lawsuits, and more number 1 songs than The Beatles, at this point in Kelly Clarkson career, the American Idol winner has decided to just be Kelly.

She took the stage at Klipsch Music Center on July 30th barefoot and with a buzz cut on one side of her head. Why not? After years of trying to live up to others expectations she is choosing to listen to her own voice and live her own life. Maybe that’s due to her recent marriage to Brandon Blackstock in 2013 and the birth of their daughter, River Rose. But, she never looked more confident and beautiful on stage as she did in Noblesville, Indiana.

She joked with the crowd about wishing she had a suntan, but tanning was only for skinny girls. But, she had no problem digging up her more vulnerable side talking about how her father left her as a young child and how she couldn’t ever image how a father could leave a child behind.

She looked gorgeous in three different beautiful purple gowns — as she sang songs like “Catch My Breath,” “Behind These Hazel Eyes,” and “Stronger.”

Her voice sounded strong and I had to hold back tears as she sang “Piece by Piece” and a mix of two of her earlier songs, “Because of You” and “Breakaway.”  She also “owned” the Miley Cyrus cover of Wrecking Ball, as the video below will show.

Supporting act Pentatonix joined Clarkson on stage for “Heartbeat Song.”
