The 4th season of House of Cards ended with very little resolution and fans have been chomping at the bit for season five. Netflix is using the Inauguration to boost season five’s marketing by releasing a short, gloomy, unnerving teaser for fans to eat up.

Are you going to keep with the Underwood’s? What is their appeal? Frank and Claire relish in the pursuit of power, for power’s sake and their actions illustrate the depths they will sink to. Their black cynicism might have turned off viewers in a different era, however, this generation can’t seem to get enough. What does this say about our culture?
