White enjoyed great success especially in the 1970s, with his mixture of soul, funk and disco hits, including ‘Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe.” He has made a number of television appearances and been featured as himself on a few episodes of The Simpsons. His voice can also be heard in Apple’s first iBook commercial.
